Cool fast, chill promptly and reheat thoroughly.
Typical storage time: Fridge 1–2 days; reheat until steaming hot (75°C) once only
Best for
- Cooked meals, rice (cool quickly), soups and stews
Avoid for
- Leaving cooked food out over 2 hours
- Reheating rice more than once
Good to know
Cooked rice can grow harmful bacteria if left warm — cool within 1 hour and refrigerate. Reheat leftovers only once.
